Seona Misumi | Portraits

Glasgow Photographer specialising in Maternity, Newborn and Family Portrait Photography

Please read the following update as of 25th June 2020

I am fully booked for outdoor sessions for July, and I am  planning to open for studio sessions in August!

I am currently booking in all postponed sessions for August & September so if your session was postponed please make sure to check your inbox...and spam just incase.

After postponed sessions are re booked, I will be offering sessions to the waitlists, after that any sessions still available will be open for general booking.

You can can yourself on any of the waitlists  and you will be given the first chance to book sessions after all postponed sessions are booked in.

You can add yourself to the NEWBORN waiting list here, that also includes new & family.

You can add yourself to the KIDS & FAMILY waiting list here.

Or dare I say it... the Christmas Mini Photoshoot wait list here will be less mini sessions this year to allow for extra cleaning time in between each shoot. Just 1 weekend a year and they always sell out in days!

Add yourself to the lists above even if you are on my regular newsletter list so I can send you the correct information so you dont miss out!

If you do have any questions about a session you can drop me an email here or arrange a telephone consult here - just a short informal chat, no sales nonsense, just the information you need.

Looking forward to hearing from you and welcoming you to the studio soon!

Seona :-)

Are you looking for beautiful portraits of your newborn, your family or of yourself?...

My name is Seona, a Glasgow portrait photographer since 2006. I specialise in natural newborn photography and striking portraits of children and families.

If everything that you've found online so far looks a little too generic, over posed newborns, too many props and the list goes on, let me show you a fresh approach to classic portraiture. A natural, baby led style of photographing your newborn, a classic portrait of your child to cherish for years to come, and lets not forget heirloom family portraits to tell your family story.

You want your portraits to have more of punch, more true to life and not the same old flat looking images you keep finding every time you consider hiring a professional portrait photographer. You want to leave your photographer having enjoyed the experience with professional guidance, having received excellent service and it goes without saying, stunning photographs of your family and striking pieces of wall art to display and enjoy in your home....why else would you hire a professional?

"100% recommend. Seona did a newborn photo shoot and she was so good with the baby, he felt totally settled and she was brilliant with him. The photos were absolutely beautiful. So natural looking. We ended up going for a collage print in a beautiful frame which Seona helped us choose the photos and the layout and we couldn’t be more pleased with it." Ashleigh

"Seona made us feel really comfortable when she attended the hospital on the day of my baby's birth. She managed to capture some beautifully lit, natural, unposed images which we love. We've got a gorgeous selection of images of a really special day." Lesley Ann
