Newborn Photography

The wait is almost over, you want to capture beautiful, natural and heart busting photographs of the newest love of your life,  you've come to the right place! As an experienced  newborn photographer, I specialise in natural, simple, timeless newborn photography in my Glasgow studio, in hospital or at your home.

You have waited nine whole months, maybe quite a bit longer, for your new love to arrive in your life, your arms and your heart.

You've wondered who's nose he will have, will she have mums eyes....

You've thought about names and narrowed down the list, you may not have agreed on any names yet. You've planned everything from nursery design to the cutest pair of booties - where would we be without online shopping, how did heavily pregnant ladies ever get organised without it?!

You have felt every kick and hiccup, and lets not get started on the heartburn. You've taken a peculiar fondness to foods you would never usually eat. You've waited in the anti natal clinic at the QUEH for many more hours than care to tally up. The wait too meet your little love is almost over - Hurray!

Now is the time to plan celebrating baby's arrival into the world...

If you are reading this then you, like me, know the importance newborn photography, and how hiring a professional photographer is the best way to preserve these moments at this beautifully, emotionally incredible time as you become a parent, first time or third time, the same emotions fill our hearts.  As you look at your photographs the little moments will be preserved and you will be so glad you hired that photographer.

"Seona photographed my newborn and our family in her studio. She captured her perfectly and did an amazing job of photographing her and her big brother together as well as keeping him entertained during the shoot.

She also did a shoot in the hospital when my baby was just 24hrs old. The photos are so precious especially as she captured little details that are easy to forget as your baby grows so quickly."

How does it work?

Im often asked how I book in a newborn session when we don't know when baby will arrive? Well, we don't is the short answer.

I book your session based on your babys due date, which he/she will probably not arrive on! Unless you are in the 3 percent that do arrive on their due dates!  Using that date I reserve time 2 weeks before and 2 weeks after your due date - I know that during that four week window you will be dropping me a message to let me know that your newest, most beautiful little love has finally arrived in your arms! Then we arrange a date for your session!
